Questions
The things people ask
Is there a contract?
Yes. It sets out what I deliver, what I don't, what you own, and how either of us ends it.
You see it before you pay anything and I'll walk you through the term on the call.
Who owns the domain?
You do, from day one, and it stays in your name. If you ever leave I release or repoint it
for you.
What happens if I cancel?
Your domain, your photos, your content and your customer list go with you. The website
itself is part of the service, so it comes down when the service stops — you'd need a new
site built. It's spelled out in the agreement and I go through that page with you before you
sign, not after.
Can you work with my current website?
The new one gets built alongside what you have now. Nothing changes until you look at it and
approve it. If your current site is genuinely doing its job, I'll tell you that.
How long does implementation take?
Typically 7–10 days from the point I have your photos, services and access. The thing that
usually slows it down is getting into your Google Business Profile, so we start that first.
Do you run advertising?
No. Get the site and your reviews right first — ads send people somewhere, and if that
somewhere isn't ready the money is wasted. Run them afterwards with whoever you like.
How does text-message compliance work?
Automated texting to your customers is registered under your business — your legal name,
your tax ID, your opt-in wording — because you're the sender of record. Every message
identifies you and carries opt-out handling, and anyone who opts out is suppressed
immediately. That registration happens during onboarding and has to be approved before
messaging switches on.
Why is there only one plan?
Because a menu of tiers is a way of making you do the work of figuring out what you need.
This is what a contractor needs. If you genuinely only want the website without the follow-up
side, tell me on the call and we'll talk about it — but I'd rather sell one thing properly
than five things vaguely.
Are telephone and messaging charges included?
Calls and texts are usage-based, and ordinary contractor volume is included in the monthly
price. If your volume is genuinely unusual I'll show you the real numbers rather than absorb
it quietly or surprise you later. I'm not going to promise unlimited anything that I get
invoiced for.
Do you do AI phone answering?
Not yet. I'd rather do one thing properly than launch a half-built receptionist on a paying
client. It's on the list once the core system is proven with real contractors.
